Job Title: Creative Services Project Manager

Department: Marketing

Job Reports To: Creative Director

Status: Exempt

About the Role

The Nashville Predators & Bridgestone Arena are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative Creative Services Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of creative and marketing projects across the organization. Reporting to the Creative Director, this role serves as the central point of contact between the Marketing team and internal partners across Partnerships, Ticketing, Sales, Communications, Social, Content, Hockey Operations, Arena Operations, Events, and other business functions.

The Creative Services Project Manager will manage projects from initial intake and briefing through creative development, approvals, production, installation, and final delivery. This individual will ensure projects are clearly scoped, appropriately prioritized, efficiently resourced, delivered on time and on budget, and aligned with Nashville Predators & Bridgestone Arena brand standards.

Major Responsibilities:

Project Management & Creative Workflow

  • Own the creative project intake process, ensuring requests are properly briefed, scoped, prioritized, assigned, and tracked from initiation through completion.
  • Lead the planning and execution of multiple concurrent creative & marketing projects across a variety of mediums and departments.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, task lists and production schedules.
  • Facilitate recurring creative traffic and status meetings, ensuring priorities, deadlines, dependencies, and next steps are clearly communicated.
  • Proactively identify potential roadblocks, resource constraints, changes, and timeline risks and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with organizational priorities, creative objectives, brand standards, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage projects through final delivery, installation, launch, or distribution, ensuring all specifications and deadlines are met.

Resource Planning & Team Operations

  • Partner with marketing leadership to forecast upcoming work and identify recurring, seasonal, and high-volume project needs.
  • Maintain visibility into team capacity and help prioritize work based on deadlines, organizational priorities, complexity, and available resources.
  • Help balance workloads across design team and identify potential roadblocks before they impact project timelines.
  • Help establish, implement, and continuously improve creative processes, systems, tools, and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, file organization, and archiving standards.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of project management and digital asset management systems.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Build strong, trusted relationships and act as a strategic partner to internal clients, helping translate business objectives into clear creative project requirements.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with key stakeholders to understand upcoming needs, priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and organizational constituents at all levels.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and alignment across departments throughout the creative process.

Production & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with external production companies, printers, promotional item vendors, installers, photographers, videographers, and other creative partners as needed.
  • Manage production timelines, specifications, file delivery, proofs, approvals, and final deliverables.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely execution.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of production processes across print, large format, environmental, promotional, digital, social, video, and other creative mediums.
  • Ensure final creative deliverables meet production specifications and Nashville Predators & Bridgestone Arena brand standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, Sports Management, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably within a creative, marketing, advertising, communications, sports, entertainment, or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from initial request through final delivery.
  • Experience working with project management and workflow systems such as Asana, Monday.com, or comparable platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage complex timelines, competing priorities, stakeholder expectations, and changing requirements.
  • Strong understanding of creative workflows, including strategy, design, content, production, and delivery.

  • Strong understanding of creative production and the ability to communicate effectively with designers, writers, content creators, producers, and external vendors.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and an understanding of the creative development process.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of digital asset management, file organization, and archival best practices.
  • Experience managing print, promotional, large-format, environmental, digital, social, and video projects.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a highly collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism when managing competing perspectives and priorities.
  • Ability to influence peers and stakeholders, build consensus, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, live events, and creating impactful fan experiences.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Walking, bending, carrying, lifting and handling heavy boxes weighing 50 pounds required.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with clients and coworkers.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand in an upright position for continuous period of time.
  • Excellent speaking and listening skills, requiring the perception of speech.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment and around an ice surface.
  • Exposure to bright lights, loud noises, extreme temperatures and dust.
  • Visual acuity including but not limited to depth perception and color variation.
