The Business Intelligence & Metrics Analyst is responsible for developing, governing, and operationalizing enterprise metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), objectives and key results (OKRs), dashboards, and executive reporting across Risk, Security, IT, Compliance, and Shared Services functions. This role transforms complex operational data into actionable business intelligence that enables leaders to make informed, risk-based decisions and measure progress against strategic objectives.

Serving as a key partner to business stakeholders, technical teams, project managers, and executive leadership, the Business Intelligence & Metrics Analyst identifies performance trends, measures organizational outcomes, and delivers scalable reporting solutions that improve visibility, accountability, and operational effectiveness across the enterprise.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise reporting frameworks, KPIs, OKRs, scorecards, and performance dashboards across Risk, Security, IT, Compliance, and Shared Services organizations.
  • Partner with business leaders to define meaningful metrics aligned to strategic priorities and operational goals.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple systems and sources to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop executive-level reports, presentations, and visualizations that communicate performance, progress, and business outcomes.
  • Establish governance standards for metrics, data quality, reporting definitions, and KPI ownership.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to automate data collection, improve reporting processes, and enhance data accessibility.
  • Monitor operational performance and provide insights that support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Measure program effectiveness and strategic outcomes through consistent reporting methodologies.
  • Support leadership reviews, operational planning, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning activities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, metrics management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience developing dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
  • Experience defining and managing KPIs, OKRs, operational metrics, and reporting frameworks.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with experience presenting insights to leadership audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, risk management, IT operations, compliance, or shared services organizations.
  • Familiarity with project portfolio management, governance, and strategic planning processes.
  • Experience with data governance, master data management, or enterprise reporting standards.
  • Knowledge of operational maturity models, performance management methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
