Overview

Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous, proactive and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify, report, and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

How you'll make an impact

  • Responsibilities:

✓Perform manual and/or automated testing across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop). ✓Design, develop, review and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile and desktop applications. ✓Typical tests may include system testing, functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, and/or test automation. ✓Report defects in the defect tracking system (e.g., JIRA), providing adequate information to the development team with steps to reproduce the issue. ✓Participate in root cause analysis with development. ✓Responsible for prompt response to bug information requests and verification. ✓Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives ✓Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies

About you

Qualifications:

✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. ✓2+ years of experience in software QA or software testing roles. ✓Strong knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, tools, and processes. ✓Some experience in any of the automation tool or frameworks or performance is required. ✓Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must. ✓Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. ✓Capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently. ✓Ability to work effectively under pressure and identify ambiguity and drive for clarity. ✓Must be proactive and have a desire to learn new skills.
