Senior Product Manager
Full-Time | Product | Atlanta, GA (In-Person)
About the Role
Swordpoint is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own what we build across a meaningful slice of our AI products. We have product-market fit and more demand than we can build against, so the constraint is not ideas. It is sequencing, specificity, and follow-through. When it comes to the product pipeline, you will help decide what matters, write specs precise enough that an engineer can build from them, and stay on it until products ship and someone is actually using it.
You will sit between the business and the engineering team. Enterprise sales and customer operations bring you what customers need and what has already been promised; you turn that into prioritized, buildable work and manage a small group of engineers through delivery. Two things make this different from product management at a large technology company. First, you own your work end to end, from discovery through launch, and you will shape how product management is done here. Second, you will be writing specs against systems that are partly modern and partly in the process of being modernized, which means every prioritization call has a real technical cost attached to it. We want a PM who wants to understand that cost rather than route around it, and who will own delivery rather than hand off a spec and walk away.
Swordpoint is at a major inflection point. We are growing from a Series A size company into a $25M+ ARR company, and the people who join now will shape what we become. We are looking for people who are hungry, who want to be at the forefront of enterprise AI diffusion into some of the country's largest industries, and who want to build the products that make that happen.
Our products are agentic, which means you will own questions most PMs have never had to answer: what acceptable accuracy means for a given workflow, where a human stays in the loop, what happens when a model is confidently wrong, and how we know quality is improving rather than drifting. We want someone genuinely excited about AI, who uses AI tooling in their own work, and who can turn what they hear from customers into products we do not have yet.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for your product area, reflecting customer reality, engineering capacity, and commitments already made by the commercial team
- Be the day-to-day connection between enterprise sales, operations, and the engineers building your product area
- Manage and coordinate a small group of engineers through delivery: priorities, sequencing, unblocking, and honest status
- Run discovery directly with enterprise customers including OEMs, retailers, dealers, and insurers, in their operations rather than over surveys
- Write specs engineers can build from: requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and the non-obvious business logic, written down and precise
- Own delivery through the build, making scope calls when the date is real and reporting status honestly to leadership
- Own AI product judgment for your area: quality thresholds, human-in-the-loop design, failure behavior, and how we measure whether a system is getting better
- Own launch and adoption, including enablement for sales and customer success, documentation, and the metric that tells us whether the thing we built is being used
- Turn support tickets, sales objections, and churn signals into roadmap inputs
- Use AI tools in your own work to move faster on prototyping, analysis, and spec drafting
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally including time at a top-tier technology company such as Meta, Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, or Stripe, or at a leading AI-native company
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical field
- Experience owning a product or feature area with real revenue attached to it
- B2B or enterprise product experience, including organizations with procurement, integration requirements, and multi-stakeholder buying committees
- Experience shipping AI or machine learning powered products, ideally agentic or LLM-based, with a credible point of view on evaluation and quality measurement
- Demonstrated ownership of execution and not only strategy: you have personally driven a complex delivery to a date with an engineering team
- Technical credibility: you can read an API contract, reason about a data model, understand why a modernization effort is blocking a feature, and push back on an estimate
- Excellent written communication. Our specs, decisions, and customer research live in documents rather than meetings
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, scaling environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a company where the product function was small or nonexistent when you arrived
- Experience working directly with a small engineering team, including distributed or nearshore engineers
- Experience managing or leading people, formally or informally
- Familiarity with home services, retail, field service, warranty, logistics, maritime, or insurance industries
- A track record of turning customer problems into net-new products rather than incremental features
