Position: Sr Salesforce Developer

Location: Chennai - Onsite/Hybrid/Remote

Shift Timing: 3.00AM - 12.00PM PST (US Pacific Time)

About the role: We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience in Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), preferably with Cloudbyz CTMS or Veeva Vault Clinical. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Salesforce development, customization, integrations, and configuration, along with a good understanding of clinical trial operations and clinical research processes. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Salesforce-based clinical trial management solutions to support clinical research, study management, and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications supporting Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).

• Work on Cloudbyz CTMS or Veeva Vault Clinical implementations, enhancements, and integrations.

• Develop Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL.

• Customize Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, triggers, and approval processes.

• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce CTMS and external clinical research systems.

• Work on clinical trial workflows covering study planning, site management, investigator management, patient recruitment, and trial monitoring.

• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, QA teams, and clinical operations stakeholders.

• Perform debugging, unit testing, deployment, and production support.

• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable clinical research and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, code reviews, and deployment activities.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development.

• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.

• Experience with Salesforce customization, configuration, and integration.

• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following:

• Cloudbyz CTMS

• Veeva Vault Clinical / Veeva Clinical Operations

• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and third-party system integrations.

• Experience with Salesforce deployment tools, Git, and CI/CD processes.

Clinical Domain Knowledge:

• Understanding of Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).

• Knowledge of clinical trial lifecycle and clinical research processes.

• Familiarity with clinical study management, clinical sites, investigators, patient enrollment, and monitoring workflows.

• Understanding of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and clinical research compliance requirements.

• Exposure to clinical data management and integrations with other clinical systems is an added advantage.

Good to Have:

• Experience integrating CTMS with EDC, eTMF, RTSM, or other clinical research platforms.

• Knowledge of Veeva Vault architecture and application configuration.

• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Salesforce Platform Developer I / II certification.
