The Position: Support the Data Operations team by developing reporting solutions, validating data quality, documenting business definitions, and maintaining governed data products. The Data Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and the DataOps team to ensure trusted, consistent, and actionable reporting.

Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and scorecards for management and executives
  • Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, budgets, and targets
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, measures, and visualizations aligned to business requirements.

Data Quality & Validation

  • Investigate reporting discrepancies and reconcile metrics across systems.
  • Support resolution of data quality issues by identifying root causes and documenting findings.
  • Validate reporting accuracy following deployments, system changes, or business logic updates.

Business Engagement & Requirements

  • Translate business questions into reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Partner with business teams to understand operational processes, KPIs, and reporting needs.

Governance & Documentation

  • Maintain KPI definitions, business glossaries, and reporting documentation.
  • Assist in semantic model and report certification activities.
  • Ensure reporting assets align with established governance standards and business definitions.

Data Product & Semantic Model Support

  • Support development and maintenance of reusable semantic models and views.
  • Support users in discovering and effectively utilizing certified reports and datasets.

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend improvements to reporting, data quality, and analytics processes.
  • Contribute to ongoing DataOps initiatives that improve efficiency, governance, and data accessibility.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with multiple business systems and datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.

Requirements

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
  • Power BI report development and dashboard design.
  • Ability to trace data lineage from source systems through transformations to reporting outputs.
  • Basic to intermediate DAX development.
  • Basic SQL querying and data validation.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Fabric experience (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Semantic Models, Dataflows Gen2).
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP and revenue-related datasets.
  • Azure DevOps or similar work management platform.
  • PySpark, Python, or notebook development experience.
  • Experience working with APIs and data integrations.
  • Advanced DAX development and performance optimization.
  • Experience supporting or developing semantic models.

Revenue Analytics & Business Performance

  • Experience supporting revenue operations, sales operations, or marketing analytics functions.
  • Understanding of recurring revenue business models.

Governance & DataOps

  • Experience maintaining data dictionaries, metric glossaries, or metadata repositories.
  • Experience supporting certification, quality assurance, or report validation processes.
  • Understanding of modern analytics architectures, including data warehousing, lakehouse, and medallion architecture concepts.
  • Working knowledge of dimensional modeling concepts including fact tables, dimensions, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
