Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the optimization and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines within the IT Services sector. This pivotal role is responsible for bridging development and operations to ensure seamless software delivery, high system availability, and robust security standards. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced automation techniques and cloud-native tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and enhance overall operational efficiency in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases.
  • Monitor system performance and health by configuring and maintaining dashboards with Prometheus and Grafana, ensuring proactive identification of potential issues.
  • Manage log aggregation and analysis infrastructure using ELK or EFK stacks to support troubleshooting efforts and maintain system observability.
  • Design and execute automated testing and deployment strategies within Agile frameworks to accelerate time-to-market while maintaining quality.
  • Administer Linux-based environments and manage complex networking configurations to ensure secure and efficient infrastructure operations.
  • Provision and manage cloud resources on AWS, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to best practices.
  • Develop custom Shell and Bash scripts to automate routine operational tasks and system administration processes.
  • Create Python-based automation solutions to streamline complex workflows and integrate disparate systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by refining DevOps practices, reducing technical debt, and enhancing system resilience.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Proven expertise with container orchestration and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong proficiency in monitoring and logging solutions, specifically Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK/EFK stack.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and enterprise networking protocols.
  • Solid background in AWS cloud services, including compute, storage, and networking capabilities.
  • Advanced scripting skills in Shell/Bash for system automation and task scheduling.
  • Competency in Python for developing automation scripts and integrating cloud services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD architecture, and infrastructure as code practices.
