THE MISSION As a Junior Product Manager, you will work closely with the Product Manager responsible for the development and marketing of our range of medical devices for the Interventional Cardiology field. You will become involved in all steps of product management from market research to post-market evaluation. You will assist the European sales teams with solving customer side product issues and provide customer trainings when needed. You will work with our marketing team to create the materials needed by the customer to get the optimal use out of the product including user manuals, videos, brochures and other documentation. You will join and support the organization of events and education programs along with the marketing communication team to achieve Asahi Intecc’s business objectives for the European market. You will provide support on the following subjects, but not limited to:
i. Product Marketing
- Support the development of commercial product marketing plan. Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to, supporting the development of product launch strategy, product placement, clinical evaluations and postmarket follow-up activities, marketing materials for all key stakeholders, promotional plan, product portfolio management, etc.
- Conduct market survey and competitive analysis to better support the delivery of the promotional plan and monitor the outcomes.
ii. Clinical Development and Education
- Support European Sales team in training sales partners and healthcare professionals in various regions:
- Educate on the current clinical data and new developments regarding company products, including how these developments can provide clinical benefits and patient safety.
- Educate on the proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and hands-on tools.
- Occasionally attend clinical procedures in the labs and operating rooms of hospital accounts to assure customer and patient success with Asahi Intecc products.
iii. Customer Relationship
- Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how Asahi Intecc products can help them to achieve their goals.
- Educate KOL’s on the technique behind the products in order to create more customer loyalty.
iv. Congresses and Events
- Attend congresses/workshops and support Asahi Intecc’s promotional and educational activities including hands-on trainings, product demonstrations and presentations.
v. Self-Education
- Maintain a comprehensive product and technical knowledge of all Asahi Intecc products as well as competitive products including features, functions and compatibility.
- Develop and maintain a competent level of knowledge in Coronary Intervention, as well as gathering knowledge of competitors products and techniques.
- A bachelor’s degree is required with areas of preference including marketing, nursing,
- Biomedical engineering or another similar degree area.
- 0-4 years of working experience.
- Previous experience in clinical / marketing positions in other medical device industries will be considered a plus.
- Fluent in English (any other additional European language is a plus).
- Can travel approx. 20-50% of the time.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software & Data Management.
- Good presentation skills and willingness to grow as a presenter.
