About the role
This is a unique opportunity to shape a strategic platform capability from the ground up. You’ll lead zero-to-one product discovery, establish a shared understanding of the problem and create a clear product vision, roadmap and phased delivery plan.
Working across a complex stakeholder environment, you’ll balance customer experience, commercial value, fulfilment cost, inventory availability and operational capacity to help create a more intelligent and effective order fulfilment network.
You’ll also:
- Own the product vision, strategy, discovery plan and roadmap for Distributed Order Management and Network Orchestration within the Order Management System
- Lead end-to-end discovery, including current-state mapping, stakeholder research, data analysis and validation of customer and business needs
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture and Data teams to assess solution options and define allocation decisioning, exception handling and integration requirements
- Develop and manage a staged roadmap and prioritised backlog, coordinating critical cross-functional dependencies, risks and trade-offs
- Build the evidence-based business case for investment and track product adoption, benefits and performance through delivery and continuous improvement
About you and your skills
You’re an experienced Product Manager who enjoys solving complex problems and shaping new platform capabilities from the ground up.
You combine strong product discovery and strategic thinking with commercial acumen, technical understanding and an ability to bring diverse stakeholders together. You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity and translating complex customer, operational and commercial challenges into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
You’ll also bring:
- Extensive Product Management, Technology Delivery or Digital Transformation experience across eCommerce, Order Management, Supply Chain or Fulfilment platforms
- Proven experience leading zero-to-one product discovery, from problem definition and value hypotheses through to product strategy, roadmaps and delivery
- Knowledge of order management, order orchestration, inventory availability, fulfilment optimisation or related retail platform capabilities
- Experience delivering integration-led platform products involving APIs, event-driven architectures, decision engines and multiple enterprise dependencies
- Strong commercial, analytical and influencing skills, with the ability to develop business cases and communicate evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders
