About the job:

Technical writers plan, create, and maintain educational content as an integral part of the engineering or user experience. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. Regardless of the content medium, technical writers are distinguished by their abilities to explain complex topics in a way that’s useful to their audience. The Sellside organization works with millions of publishers across the world, funding and enabling a free and open web. This role will sit within our gTech Technical Writing team, which empowers publishers through intuitive self-service guidance and scaled technical clarity. By enabling fast problem-solving, we aim to promote feature adoption, maximize ad business, and minimize support escalations.

In this role, you will work proactively to create clear, detailed, lively educational content to help Google publishers reach their advertising goals. Our team has a growth mindset and looks for new ways to expand educational impact in the product. As a Google Technical Writer, in addition to writing traditional Help Center content, you will improve user experience with a variety of educational tools, work on cross-Sellside privacy, policy, and regulatory topics covering critical compliance issues, and will create in-product education such as tooltips, guided help, alerts, and notifications.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
