Requirements

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in technical writing with proficiency in authoring tools like MadCap Flare and Git-based workflows. Knowledge of AI-assisted writing tools and experience with REST APIs or enterprise software environments is highly valued.

Full description

  • Plan, write and maintain installation, implementation, administration and user guides, release notes and online help for enterprise software products.
  • Work with developers, QA, product and support to gather accurate technical details and keep documentation aligned with each release.
  • Own documentation standards: style guide, templates, terminology, and single-sourcing across products.
  • Manage authoring and publishing workflows (Flare or MkDocs, Git, automated HTML/PDF builds), and migrate legacy Word, PDF and Flare content to modern formats.
  • Use AI tools to draft, edit, convert and audit content, and structure content for AI search and chatbots. Always verify output for accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Mentor junior writers, run review cycles and improve documentation using customer and support feedback.
  • Writing: 6+ years of clear, task-based technical writing, information architecture and style-guide discipline.
  • Authoring tools: MadCap Flare, MkDocs/Markdown, Confluence, plus Word and PDF publishing; Snagit and draw.io for visuals.
  • Docs-as-code: Git (Bitbucket/GitHub), CI/CD builds, basic HTML/CSS, YAML (Optional)
  • AI knowledge: AI-assisted writing and conversion, tools such as Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT, and AI-ready content (modular topics, metadata, RAG).
  • Technical and domain: databases, installation and configuration, REST APIs; financial or enterprise software experience is a plus.
  • Collaboration: SME interviewing, Agile release planning, stakeholder management.
