This is a senior-facing functional and technical role focused on market risk systems and data-driven financial solutions.You will work closely with Market Risk and Methodology teams to translate business needs into effective functional and technical solutions.The position combines business analysis, technical understanding, testing, backlog management, and end-to-end coordination.You will contribute to the evolution and reliability of systems supporting investment products and market risk processes.The environment is collaborative and international, requiring strong communication across business and technology teams.The role is fully remote while based in Brazil, with potential future mobility to Portugal or Spain depending on business needs.It is an opportunity to make a direct impact in a technically demanding and internationally oriented financial environment.

Accountabilities

• Requirements Analysis: Gather, analyze, and refine requirements in close collaboration with Market Risk and Methodology teams, ensuring business needs are clearly translated into actionable specifications.

• Functional & Technical Solutions: Define functional and technical approaches for market risk systems, balancing business requirements with technical feasibility and system capabilities.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Plan and execute unit and integration testing across development and pre-production environments, validating that solutions meet functional and technical expectations.

• Backlog & Squad Management: Manage user requests within the squad backlog, helping prioritize demands, assess team capacity, and maintain alignment between business priorities and delivery plans.

• End-to-End Coordination: Coordinate technical teams involved throughout the E2E process, ensuring effective communication, dependency management, and progress across different stages of delivery.

• Risk & Investment Solutions: Support initiatives involving market risk processes, investment product typologies, and full revaluation methodologies, contributing to robust and reliable risk solutions.

Requirements

• Technical Background: Basic development knowledge in Java, Python, and Shell Script, with the ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate effectively with development teams.

• Market Risk Expertise: Practical experience with market risk solutions, including knowledge of investment product typologies and Full Revaluation methodologies.

• Database Knowledge: Experience working with Oracle databases and an understanding of data structures and systems supporting risk processes.

• Agile Delivery: Hands-on experience with Jira and Scrum methodologies, including backlog management and collaboration within multidisciplinary squads.

• Business Analysis: Strong ability to gather, structure, and translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.

• Stakeholder Management: Ability to coordinate multiple technical and business stakeholders, manage priorities, and drive discussions toward effective solutions.

• Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.

• Languages: Conversational English and Spanish are required.

• Mobility: Availability for a potential future relocation to Portugal or Spain if required by project, strategic, or legal considerations.
