We’re looking for an experienced Insurance Analyst to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for our superannuation clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data, and contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of insurance products and processes.
In this role, you'll provide technical expertise across insurance-related enquiries, investigate complex data and product issues, and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, clients, and technology teams to deliver quality solutions that enhance the client experience.
What you'll be doing
- Investigate and resolve complex insurance enquiries, providing technical analysis and insights to support accurate and timely outcomes.
- Analyse insurance products, business requirements and data to identify issues, recommend improvements, and support quality service delivery.
- Partner with internal technology teams and business stakeholders to implement enhancements, releases, patches and product changes.
- Support insurance-related projects, including fund transitions, system enhancements, product migrations and functional specification reviews.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to ensure products, systems and business rules are performing as intended.
- Collaborate with colleagues, clients, auditors and fund representatives to deliver audit requirements, resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships.
- Monitor and report on data and business rule exceptions, taking ownership of deliverables and contributing to continuous process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, quality and risk management requirements while maintaining high standards of accuracy and governance.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will bring some of the following experience and capabilities:
- Experience within the superannuation industry, ideally with exposure to insurance products and administration.
- Background in business analysis, data analysis or a similar role within financial services.
- Confidence using data analysis tools to investigate issues, identify trends and support decision-making.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative and detail-oriented approach, with an interest in risk management, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
