QA Engineer

Mandatory Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts, methodologies, test case design techniques, and defect life cycle.

• Basic hands-on experience in Automation Testing using:

Job Description – QA Engineer (Manual)

We are looking for a QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience who has a strong foundation in Manual Testing along with practical exposure to Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in functional, regression, integration, and API testing, with hands-on experience in Selenium automation using Java. Exposure to modern AI-assisted testing tools and the ability to leverage them responsibly to improve testing productivity and quality will be an added advantage.

The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and be capable of working effectively in an Agile development environment.

• Bug analysis and root cause investigation.

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and participate in requirement review sessions.

• Prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, UAT support, and End-to-End testing.

• Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium with Java.

• Contribute to Playwright-based automation initiatives where applicable.

• Perform API testing using Postman and validate service integrations.

• Execute database validation using SQL whenever required.

• Identify, log, track, prioritize, and verify defects until closure.

• Participate in defect triage meetings and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.

• Prepare Test Summary Reports and maintain testing documentation including RTM, execution reports, and test evidence.

• Participate in Sprint Planning, Story Grooming, Estimation, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test design, automation development, debugging, documentation, and productivity while validating AI-generated outputs.

• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern QA practices, automation techniques, and AI-assisted testing methodologies.

• Ensure timely delivery of testing activities while maintaining high quality standards.
