This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Architect, Enterprise Applications based in United States.
This is a senior-level architecture role responsible for shaping the strategy, governance, integration, and optimization of an enterprise Salesforce ecosystem.You will serve as the technical authority for complex Salesforce initiatives spanning the broader Go-To-Market technology landscape.The role combines hands-on solution architecture with enterprise governance, data strategy, security, and technical leadership.You will work closely with business, revenue operations, marketing, technology, and executive stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.You will also guide implementations, assess platform health, manage architectural risks, and establish standards that support long-term growth.The environment values collaboration, thoughtful problem-solving, continuous improvement, and strong technical documentation.This is an opportunity to influence enterprise technology strategy while mentoring technical teams and driving high-impact transformation.

Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for Salesforce implementations, enhancements, customizations, and integrations across the enterprise and GTM technology ecosystem.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, data models, technical specifications, and comprehensive solution documentation.
- Review and approve technical designs from administrators, developers, consultants, and external vendors, acting as the senior escalation point for complex Salesforce architecture decisions.
- Provide technical leadership throughout planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release stabilization, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with architectural standards and strategic roadmaps.
- Design and oversee enterprise integrations between Salesforce and systems such as Workday, marketing platforms, data lakes, contract management tools, and custom applications.
- Establish and evolve data governance, master data management, data quality, API, middleware, event-driven architecture, and data synchronization standards.
- Develop governance practices covering release management, change control, environment strategy, security, compliance, and platform management.
- Conduct architecture reviews and platform health assessments to identify technical risks, performance issues, optimization opportunities, and areas for modernization.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and executive stakeholders as a trusted advisor on Salesforce capabilities, technology strategy, and roadmap opportunities.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions to create alignment, clarify priorities, and drive measurable outcomes.
- Mentor and guide Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, and external consultants while supporting vendor selection, recruiting, and resource planning.
- Promote collaborative, respectful, and solution-oriented ways of working across technical and business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 10–12+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 5 years in a Salesforce Architect or Lead Architect position.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, configuration, customization, and enterprise integration.
- Strong experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Lightning Platform.
- Hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and ETL tools.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, profiles, permission sets, governance frameworks, and compliance practices.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, release management, and modern software delivery practices.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with Workday, Microsoft Azure, and Fabric data platforms is highly valued.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud technologies.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or System Architect certifications are preferred; Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to process discipline and technical accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and influence senior business leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaborate across functions, and navigate complex enterprise environments.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed, with expected travel of less than 15%.
- Candidates must currently reside in the United States.
