The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for Medison’s portfolio in Colombia, translating global and regional strategies into impactful and actionable local plans.
The role will have end-to-end responsibility for brand strategy, launch readiness, market development, digital and omnichannel engagement, and lifecycle management, working closely with Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Commercial, and other relevant functions.
A key focus of the role will be deeply understanding the patient journey and customer journey, identify barriers to diagnosis and treatment, generate actionable market insights, and develop innovative initiatives that support disease awareness, earlier diagnosis, appropriate treatment and sustainable patient access.
The Product Manager will combine strategic thinking, strong execution capabilities, digital innovation and data-driven decision making to maximize brand performance and deliver meaningful impact for patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand strategies and tactical plans aligned with local, regional and global business priorities.
- Identify and leverage market opportunities, customer insights and patient journey needs to drive brand growth and performance.
- Develop and implement digital and omnichannel strategies, integrating face-to-face and digital engagement to enhance customer experience and HCP engagement.
- Leverage data, customer segmentation and analytics to optimize marketing initiatives, channel mix and brand performance.
- Lead marketing activities for new product launches and lifecycle management, ensuring strong launch readiness and execution.
- Develop initiatives supporting disease awareness, diagnosis, referral pathways and patient finding, when applicable.
- Partner closely with KAMs and field teams to translate brand strategy into effective customer engagement and field execution.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Commercial, Compliance and other relevant functions.
- Develop effective marketing campaigns, promotional materials, digital content and congress strategies in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitors and healthcare trends, translating insights into business opportunities and actions.
- Participate in forecasting and business planning and manage the budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Build strong relationships with KOLs, HCPs, partner companies and other relevant stakeholders, while ensuring full compliance with Medison SOPs and ethical standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Postgraduate degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with relevant experience in Marketing and/or Product Management.
- Proven experience developing and executing pharmaceutical brand strategies and tactical plans.
- Experience with innovative and/or specialty products; experience in Rare Diseases and/or Oncology is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in new product launches and market development.
- Strong understanding of the Colombian healthcare system and pharmaceutical market.
- Experience developing or implementing digital marketing and omnichannel strategies.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including market analysis, customer segmentation, forecasting and performance tracking.
- Experience working in cross-functional and matrix environments.
- Experience collaborating with field teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
