Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager / task lead to join our fast growing team! In this role you will get to lead a high performing team supporting DoW Cyber Policy located in Arlington and Alexandria.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage and track the implementation of approximately nine strategic initiatives and 34 lines of effort supporting the DoW Cyber Strategy and Action Plan.
  • Serve as a SETA project management advisor to Cyber Policy staff and senior leadership, providing program coordination, execution support, and performance oversight.
  • Generate and maintain Gantt charts and other project management tools to track milestones, task completion, resource requirements, and critical path activities.
  • Identify, engage, and coordinate stakeholders across the cyber enterprise to align priorities, resolve issues, and drive progress toward strategic objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing project team while coordinating activities with senior leadership, program managers, technical teams, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and facilitate integrated action plans, project schedules, and milestone trackers aligned to program dependencies, deliverables, and organizational priorities.
  • Monitor task execution, suspense dates, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure commitments and timelines are achieved.
  • Coordinate across organizational boundaries to facilitate communication, remove execution barriers, and support timely decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior client leadership and provide clear, accurate, and transparent reporting on program status, risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Develop executive-level briefings, status reports, dashboards, and decision-support materials to communicate progress and support leadership reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management processes, governance practices, and performance reporting across the cyber enterprise.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree with 12 years relevant work experience, minimum 5 years in program management or project management that include process management and developing implementation and action plans for strategic defense initiatives.
  • Ability to interface with senior level customer management with the highest decorum.
  • Microsoft Project expert, proficient in Gantt charts, schedule building, detailed WBS, and task dependencies (Finish-to-Start).
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical support and advice.
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

 

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.

Salary Range: $148,300.00 - $266,900.00
