Reports To: Director/Senior Program Manager Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week
FLSA Status: Exempt Work Location: Remote, minimal on-site customer dependent

Position Summary
The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, execution, and performance of assigned projects, task orders, and operational initiatives. This role ensures project objectives are met within defined scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual requirements while serving as the primary coordination point for execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management
- Manage assigned projects, task orders, work packages, or operational initiatives from initiation through completion.
- Oversee execution to ensure compliance with applicable requirements, schedules, budgets, performance objectives, and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, action item logs, and other required documentation.
- Maintain customer and stakeholder relationships and support regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, staffing, schedules, deliverables, and operational effectiveness.
- Identify project risks, issues, and performance concerns and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Drive customer satisfaction through timely communication, responsiveness, and successful project execution.
- Coordinate activities between project personnel, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and support organizations.
- Ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of project issues and stakeholder concerns.
Personnel and Resource Coordination
- Manage project staffing requirements and resource utilization.
- Provide day-to-day direction to project personnel and assigned resources.
- Carry out onboarding, training, and performance feedback activities for project team members, in collaboration with Program Manager and shared services team.
- Coordinate subcontractor and vendor activities in support of project requirements.
- Promote accountability, communication, and collaboration among project personnel.
Financial Management
- Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning activities; identification of financial risks affecting project performance and communicate concerns to program leadership.
- Perform invoice review, funding tracking, subcontract management, and financial reporting requirements.
- Ensure project execution aligns with established financial objectives and contractual requirements.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure assigned projects comply with applicable requirements, company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, schedules, and reporting.
- Prepare and provide operational, financial, and project status reports to program leadership.
- Monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance with project requirements as applicable.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or a minimum of three (3) years of combined training, education, and/or experience.
· Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible project, operations, contract, construction, technical, or business management experience.
· Minimum of two (2) years' experience coordinating projects, task orders, work packages, contracts, or operational initiatives.
· Minimum of two (2) years' experience leading project teams, coordinating personnel, subcontractors, vendors, or assigned resources.
· Minimum of two (2) years' experience supporting project performance, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
· Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or other relevant industry certification.
· Minimum of two (2) years' experience supporting complex programs, projects, operations, or service delivery environments.
· Minimum of one (1) years' experience supporting contract growth, customer engagement, and business development activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
· Ability to interpret contractual requirements, schedules, and operational objectives.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and enterprise resource planning (ERP), project management, or business management systems including Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or similar platforms.
