As the Smart Care Squad Lead and Product Manager, you'll operate at the intersection of product sense, technical acumen, stakeholder leadership, and user-centered solution design—shaping strategy, driving execution, and translating complex healthcare problems into solutions that improve member outcomes and drive measurable business value.

Responsibilities:
What
- Responsible for timebound delivery of Smart Care solutions to delivery on business value, converging business and technical perspectives to accelerate design decision.
- Create clarity around priorities, expectations, and shared outcomes for the Squad.
- Own the product backlog, facilitate problem solving, scoping, and prioritization, balancing near-term commitments with longer-term value. Run day-to-day planning and ceremonies, and champion Agile practices. Clarify and coordinate dependencies with other teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate tightly with squad technical captains to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications to communicate feature requirements to data science, engineering and stakeholder teams.
- Support engineering and data science teams to implement features by clarifying requirements, facilitating technical feasibility discussions, and helping them to understand users and the business needs.
- Facilitate problem solving across teams, factoring in trade-offs between speed, scalability and quality.
- Align delivery plan to adjacent solutions to capture cross-portfolio value.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and validate hypotheses.
- Collaborate with designers to create UX flows, wireframes and product designs.
- Define, monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of release-management frameworks.
- Develop and execute strategies for proactive user support and issue resolution.
- Support business case development and roadmap planning with stakeholders and leadership.

- Demonstrate strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills to influence decisions, build alignment, and drive adoption.
- Champion a data-driven, and innovation-focused mindset with a strong commitment to product excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay current on emerging trends in analytics, data platforms, AI/ML, and digital technologies, and identify opportunities to apply them across lines of business.
- Facilitate continuous improvement in product planning, execution and launch processes.
- Champion Agile methodologies and lean practices in product development.
- Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and methodologies that improve analytics product delivery, insight generation, and innovation across teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management role.
- 5+ years’ experience running the day-to-day product execution with Data Science and/or Engineering teams.
- 3+ years’ experience working with SMEs to uncover nuances in ambiguous business problems and operational processes.
- 3+ years’ experience with stakeholder management.
- 3+ years’ demonstrated ability to drive outcomes in a complex environment.
- 2+ years’ experience building capabilities that leverage AI, ML or other advanced analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter interested in leveraging new AI tools and technologies to improve productivity and new ways of working.
- Excellence in prioritization and aligning senior stakeholders on a unified vision.
- Strong Excel/SQL/analytics/Storytelling capability.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, especially in taking a product from concept through launch.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
