Full description

The Elder and Vulnerable (“EVP”) Banking team advances the Consumer Bank’s approach to serving older customers. We turn deep customer insight, behavioral understanding, and the evolving industry landscape into differentiated banking experiences that meet customer needs.

As a Senior Product Manager, EVP Strategy & Operations – Vice President in Consumer Banking, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s strategy and approach to this rapidly evolving segment. Reporting to the General Manager, Head of EVP Segment, you will help manage the segment as a business—owning the strategic narrative, performance management, and cross-functional delivery for one of the firm’s most important customer segments. You will be in a high-impact opportunity for a strategy-oriented business leader who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from the ground up, and can move seamlessly between strategy formulation, stakeholder alignment, and execution.

Job responsibilities

  • Shape segment strategy and long-term vision for older customers, identifying opportunities across acquisition, engagement, retention, and differentiated customer experiences.
  • Translate customer and behavioral insights into priorities with clear objectives, operating principles, and measurable outcomes to guide execution; serve as a champion for the customer across the business.
  • Drive end-to-end execution by partnering with Product, Marketing, Operations, Branch, Risk, Finance, Strategy, and Customer Experience to convert strategy into a sequenced roadmap and delivery plan.
  • Lead analytics and research on demographic trends, customer needs, regulatory considerations, and competitive dynamics; convert findings into recommendations, business cases, and prioritized actions.
  • Monitor segment performance against KPIs and strategic objectives; identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, and drive course correction and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop executive-level communications (readouts, narratives, dashboards) and represent the team in cross-functional forums to align stakeholders around shared goals.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, management consulting, or a similar analytical leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience defining strategy, operating models, or business priorities at a segment, portfolio, or enterprise level.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data and insights into clear strategic direction and executive-level communication.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and building structure where it does not yet exist.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience working in highly regulated environments or with risk and control partners is a plus.
