Job Description: 

Business & Revenue Management

  • Own and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives, revenue targets, and profitability goals.
  • Drive revenue growth and gross margin achievement across the assigned product portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales teams to maximize sales opportunities and market penetration.
  • Conduct weekly business reviews with internal stakeholders and vendors to monitor sales pipeline, funnel, and business performance.

Vendor Management

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships with vendors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor engagement, business planning, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure alignment with vendor growth objectives and business priorities.
  • Drive effective utilization of vendor marketing and development funds (MDF/MARCOM) to maximize ROI and business growth.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Manage inventory planning, forecasting, stock availability, and working capital efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess or aging inventory.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, backlog positions, and supply constraints, taking corrective actions where required.
  • Enhance supply chain effectiveness and improve overall operational efficiency.

Product & Market Management

  • Develop and execute product marketing plans, product launches, promotional programs, partner schemes, and market development initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitive landscape, and pricing strategies.
  • Communicate and rationalize product positioning and business decisions across stakeholders.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of assigned technologies, solutions, and competitive offerings.

Sales & Channel Development

  • Drive partner productivity through channel engagement programs, incentives, and marketing activities.
  • Strengthen customer and partner relationships to improve business opportunities and long-term growth.
  • Support consultative selling approaches and assist sales teams in engaging customer decision-makers.
  • Conduct product, sales, and technical training sessions for internal sales teams and channel partners.

Forecasting & Business Planning

  • Prepare and manage sales forecasts, demand planning, inventory projections, and business plans.
  • Track product sales performance and analyze effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events.
  • Provide accurate business intelligence, market insights, and performance reports to management and vendors.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and business support teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
  • Coordinate vendor claims, commercial programs, rebate management, and business reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and business performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Product Management, Product Business Management, Category Management, or Vendor Management role within the IT Distribution industry.
  • Proven experience managing technology products, vendors, channel partners, inventory planning, and business development.
  • Experience working with enterprise technology vendors and channel ecosystems is highly preferred.
