Benefits
Full description
Full-time · [City / Remote] · Reports to the [CTO / VP Engineering]
You lead a team of [6–10] backend and frontend engineers. You hire them, grow them, and
make sure they ship the right things at a steady pace.
What you'll do
- Lead a team working in Rails, Go, Vue and React.
- Hire: define the role, run interviews, close candidates and onboard them.
- Hold weekly 1:1s, give clear feedback, set growth plans and run performance reviews.
- Plan delivery with product: break down the roadmap, commit to realistic dates, and
- flag risks early.
- Own how the team works: planning, code review standards, releases and incident
response.
- Balance features against tech debt, reliability and security, together with the Solution
Architect.
- Track team health with a few metrics, such as deployment frequency, lead time and
change failure rate, and act on them.
- Stay technical: review designs, join incident calls, and pick up small tickets when it
unblocks the team

person.
Nice to have
- Managed managers, or a team of 10+.
