About the Position
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception through completion. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role offers hands-on involvement in all aspects of project delivery including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and on-site management. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and procurement
- Support coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Help track project progress and prepare regular reports and documentation
- Participate in job site meetings and ensure quality control standards are met
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to resolving field issues and ensuring timely project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction or project management support
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- OSHA certification preferred but not required
