About Us Abergeldie is a majority locally owned contractor with 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
About the Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major wastewater infrastructure project on the Sunshine Coast.
Joining the project at a critical stage, you'll provide leadership and accountability from early planning, design and procurement activities through to construction, commissioning and completion. You'll be responsible for driving project performance across safety, programme, commercial and quality outcomes, while ensuring continuity throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and delivery teams, you'll oversee the successful delivery of complex brownfield works within an operational treatment plant environment and play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure for the local community.
What You'll Bring to the Team To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience delivering large-scale Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects and brownfield construction works within live operational environments.
In addition, you'll bring:
- Demonstrated success managing complex multidisciplinary project scopes, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process works.
- Experience leading major infrastructure projects from early planning, design development and procurement phases through to successful delivery and commissioning.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract administration, forecasting, cost control and risk management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and operational stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience leading high-performing project teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
