Full description

The Performance Finance Senior Analyst, DCLP is responsible for finance activities including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on up-to-date business metrics such as variance reporting, cost allocation, market breakdowns, customer breakdowns, retrospective reviews of contracts, sensitivity analysis, ad-hoc business case analysis / reporting, and interfacing with operations and commercial leads to understanding the business and the drivers of results within the respective business units. Performs job duties consistent within safety, legal and regulatory requirements, company standards, culture and business practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare management reports emphasizing up to date results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly P&L reports with variance explanations supported by results, and business leads
  • Identify and report out on key drivers, problematic trends, opportunities identified through business operations analysis
  • Perform analysis and reports in support of finance, sales and operations
  • Utilize SQL and Business Intelligence system (Cognos) for various ongoing and ad-hoc reporting
  • Perform business plan case review for financial viability as needed
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or General Business
  • 1-2 years of finance experience, in Corporate Finance/FP&A/Accounting
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Cognos and Hyperion is a plus
  • Detailed knowledge of financial statements and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfort working with executives
  • Self-driven, motivated and mature
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
