Java Developer (Oracle Development)

Location: Onsite – Islamabad (Bahria Town Phase 7 )

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong Oracle development experience to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Java technologies and Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications.
  • Develop and optimize database solutions using Oracle Database.
  • Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
  • Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
  • Provide technical documentation and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong experience with Java (Core Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate).
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Database (PL/SQL development).
  • Proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
  • Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (Angular/React) is a plus.
  • Experience in banking, telecom, or enterprise-level applications.
  • Oracle certification (OCA/OCP) is an advantage.
