About the role: As a Product Manager, you will be the owner of a product line with clearly defined revenue, market share and profitability targets. Your responsibility extends from increasing revenue and profit on existing products to a new product road map that grows your product segments’ market share. This position is responsible for developing products from existing ideas, as well as to develop new ideas based on market research, industry experience and contacts with customers and dealers. You must be able to effectively communicate with all areas of the company. Success in this position will require a unique blend of business, entrepreneurship and technical understanding with a drive to make your vision reality. What you will do: Champion product development and launch activities from kickoff through Ready to Ship Authorization (RTS) (Gate 90). Define detailed product requirements based on Market Surveys, Customer and Dealer interviews, internal stakeholder interviews and competitive analysis. Develop a business plan for each project which achieves targets established at Kickoff. Form and lead the cross functional project team up to Gate 40. Prepare and present approval materials for each Gate. Lead continuous improvement through product health monitoring and initiating actions to promote customer satisfaction and achievement of MLA market share and profitability goals. Some examples include, but are not limited to warranty, product cost, feature/option gaps or supply chain risk. Support product control function within organization by providing direction for product options, descriptions, pricing and configuration rules. When & Where: Hybrid Work Schedule in office 3 days a week QualificationsWhat you need to have: 2-7 years of experience Bachelors Degree Self- starter with track record in new product initiatives and company projects. Strong technical understanding of industrial machinery and/or automotive systems. Knowledge of the lift truck industry, forklift truck products, features and applications. Familiar with financial calculations for product cost, profit and ROI. Ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve project goals. Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the ability to of manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable in a high profile position presenting to Management. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project). What would be nice to have: Previous experience with an OEM of industrial/construction/agricultural or automotive products. Previous Project Management experience.
