Job Summary
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in driving data-based decision-making across the organization by performing financial planning, analysis, and forecasting. This position is responsible for interpreting financial data, developing financial models, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and presenting actionable recommendations to senior leadership. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Essential Job Functions
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for retail operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analyses and performance metrics, to senior management.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales, margin, and expense data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with departments such as Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing to support financial initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve financial reporting and analysis efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
Additional Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CFA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
Pay Range
USD $70,304.00 - USD $70,304.00 /Yr.
