As part of its development Volton strengthens its human resources in Athens and seeks a Product Manager - Energy Services & Platforms.
The Product Manager - Energy Services & Platforms drives the development of energy services and energy products’ presence in Volton’s digital platforms, while identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships. The role combines product management, commercial development & support of product operations across the energy product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new energy products and services through partnerships, creating differentiated and commercially viable propositions
- Manage and optimize the commercial presence of energy products, services and offers across Volton’s digital platforms, with emphasis on the digital app MyOn
- Manage Salesforce CRM platform related to new packages & promos setup, UATs, configurations etc
- Monitor the energy market, competition and market trends to identify opportunities for new products and services and optimize the existing portfolio
- Monitor regulatory developments and cooperate with the relevant teams to ensure timely implementation of requirements
- Define product and process requirements and translate business needs into clear business requirements
- Coordinate go-to-market activities and commercial initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders (MarCom, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Customer Support, Sales etc)
- Analyze customer needs and develop strong customer value propositions, taking into consideration different customer segments
- Prepare financial analyses and business cases for new and existing products, services and partnerships
- Monitor product and partnership performance through KPIs, including commercial performance, profitability and P&L
- Manage the full product lifecycle, making recommendations for optimization, repositioning, redesign or withdrawal based on performance and business needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; A Master’s degree will be a plus
- 3+ years of experience in Product management, Business Development or a related field
- Experience within the energy sector will be strongly appreciated
- Solid understanding of energy markets, particularly electricity and natural gas
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools
