Full description
This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 14 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
Product Management The Product Management role is responsible for managing aspects of the product strategy and the end-to-end product lifecycle. This job reviews and assesses market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the products.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinates with partners across the enterprise to deliver product strategy and ensure accurate and cohesive operations, promotion, and distribution of the product.
- Conducts research on product trends and positioning strategies, analyzes consumer behavior and develops insights on market conditions to inform the product strategy.
- Produces reports on profitability and performance and fosters discussions around business expectations, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
- Monitors various metrics and market dynamics and measures product performance against business expectations.
- Coordinates strategic processes for the product and ensures partnership alignment on decisions related to the product lifecycle.
- Partners with legal, risk and compliance teams to fully identify, understand, establish controls, test and mitigate potential risks to ensure products adhere to compliance, privacy regulations and policies.
- Acts as product subject matter expert on features and services.

The Product Manager role is responsible for understanding the business requirements for the R+ program and developing appropriate test plans to ensure the successful delivery for Onboarding Automation. .
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and support planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and provide walkthrough to business partners for R+ onboarding and changes for all model types, representing all user profiles.
- Work closely with various partners to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements
- Ensure the delivered product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly.
- Execute test plans end-to-end to verify user experience, integration with all business processes, demonstrate successful configuration of downstream systems, execution of participant transactions, delivery of related collateral, etc. and all requirements are met.
- Coordinate with R+ and RKT partners to ensure appropriate representation in test plan creation documenting requirements and clarify queries.
- Create systems to track testing progress, issues, ensure resolution, and report to management on progress.
- Acts as R+ subject matter expert on features and services required for delivery to end users.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all requirements are met
- Clearly document and defects and provide initial prioritization with input from business partners
- Ensure business expectations are met during the testing process
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
- Develop readiness plans and applicable readiness documentation, including process maps, job aids and SOP's
Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
- 2 – 3 years of QA experience, auditing & testing
- TIAA experience is highly recommended; Minimum of 3 Years Institutional/Corporate Retirement Services experience especially in B2B required.
- Scaled Agile preferred; Agile experience required
- JIRA and Confluence experience required
