Opportunity

Join a dynamic engineering team supporting certification and product development activities by managing technical drawings, BOM structures, and INAIL documentation. This role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, contribute to prototype certification processes, and enhance engineering data management using industry-standard tools and systems.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Prepare and manage INAIL certification drawings, including prototype assembly drawings and detailed component drawings for burst testing.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SAP and HVPLM systems.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain 2D technical drawings using CREO, with responsibility for data upload and configuration management in Windchill (HVPLM).
  • Evaluate and design simple mechanical components based on engineering requirements and enclosure flange drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation standards, drawing management guidelines, and certification requirements.
  • Collaborate proactively with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges, improve processes, and maintain data accuracy.
  • Support efficient execution of certification and engineering activities through strong attention to detail and structured documentation management.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • Education: Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: 4 to 5 years, Location: Chennai
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-driven, and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience working with engineering management systems such as SAP and HVPLM.
  • Proficiency in CREO for creating and updating technical drawings; knowledge of SUBSTATION Engineering is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of BOM creation, maintenance, and engineering documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with INAIL certification documentation and drawing requirements is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to independently manage engineering and certification-related tasks.
