About the role:
As a Spares Documentation Engineer, you will play a key role in creating, maintaining, and continuously improving spare parts documentation for appliances, ensuring efficient service and repair operations across different product categories. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and high-quality spare parts information that supports after-sales service activities throughout the entire product lifecycle.
The role involves cooperation with the R&A team as well as regular interaction with various stakeholders across the organization. You will contribute to the timely availability of spare parts documentation, support the implementation of documentation standards and processes, and help ensure that service organizations have access to the information required to diagnose, repair, and maintain products effectively. Through your expertise and attention to detail, you will contribute to enhancing service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This position is a fixed-term contract for a period of 9 months.
What you will do:
- Monitor changes in production and product development for a range of household appliances, ensuring spares documentation remains accurate and aligned with ongoing product updates.
- Prepare spare parts lists within defined timelines and quality standards.
- Create and maintain entries in spares databases, define spare parts, and update electrical diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation accurately reflects product and production changes.
- Support the Spares Planning team in optimizing spare parts availability and supply processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation quality, data accuracy, and ways of working.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes that support efficient service operations and a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to confidently interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
- Experience using graphics editing software.
- Solid technical understanding of household appliances and their operation.
- Experience working with technical documentation, product data, or related engineering information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ownership of work.
- Proactive and reliable approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
