COLSA is seeking a Control Systems Data Analyst to support our Army customer at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This role will support the management and analysis of Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control System (ICS) asset data across Army facilities, including building and maintaining accurate, validated asset inventories and developing reports, dashboards, and other decision-support products. The position requires strong data management and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical information within OT/ICS environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review field-collected evidence, including photographs, field notes, equipment labels, controller displays, screenshots, diagrams, and manufacturer documentation.
- Extract and validate technical asset data, including manufacturer, model/serial number, firmware/OS, connectivity, location, and system relationships.
- Build and maintain accurate OT baseline inventory records and ensure traceability between inventory entries and supporting evidence.
- Apply approved naming conventions and identifiers, validate completeness, and standardize data fields.
- Analyze technical datasets and perform data quality assurance to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and reconcile data discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with appropriate stakeholders.
- Design and support relational data structures, data dictionaries, validation rules, and reporting queries.
- Automate data processes and inventory workflows using Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA.
- Build dashboards, queries, standard reports, visualizations, and decision-support products.
- Coordinate with field personnel, engineers, cybersecurity staff, and other stakeholders.
- Follow all applicable data security, handling, and mission requirements.
