We are flexible as to whether this role is located in Christchurch, Auckland or Wellington.

Join us as our Product Manager and help support the future of Telecare. In this role, you'll work with a range of teams to identify opportunities to enhance our services, improve customer experiences, and develop new offerings that build on our Medical Alarm solutions. You'll use customer feedback, data and market insights to help bring ideas to life, contributing to service improvements and innovation that deliver value for customers and the business. This role may suit a junior to intermediate product manager.

 

You’ll also: 

  • Identify and evaluate new value-added services that complement Telecare and medical alarm offerings. 
  • Develop and maintain an innovation roadmap aligned with Telecare strategy and future service priorities. 
  • Build robust business cases using existing market solutions rather than custom-built products. 
  • Lead pilot programmes in partnership with Monitoring, Field Representatives, and Customer Services teams. 
  • Assess pilot outcomes and make recommendations on national rollout and scalability. 

Qualifications

You are an experienced Product Manager with a proven track record of discovering, developing, and launching customer-focused products and services within healthcare and other regulated environments. Combining strong commercial acumen with stakeholder leadership, you excel at translating customer needs into scalable solutions, leading lean MVP testing, and collaborating across operational, clinical, monitoring, and field teams to deliver measurable business and customer outcomes. 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, product management or related field 
  • Demonstrated experience in product management, innovation, or service design, delivering successful products and services. 
  • Proven ability to manage the full product lifecycle, from discovery and validation through to launch and continuous improvement. 
  • Strong commercial acumen, including business cases, pricing, and investment decisions. 
  • Experience engaging stakeholders across operational, clinical, and technical teams in regulated environments.
