Join Qantas in our brand-new Product and Innovation Centre located in Adelaide to help meet evolving consumer needs by enabling agile teams to deliver faster, more adaptive solutions that prioritise customer value, continuous feedback, and innovation at every stage of the product lifecycle.
As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing and leading the product strategy and roadmap for a specified product portfolio and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experience. You will be involved in analysing trends, identifying new product opportunities, and ensuring strategic alignment with commercial and customer imperatives.
As part of this role, you will synthesize customer insights and human-centred design to drive product initiatives and enhancements that improve the portfolios overall product offering and customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, you will drive collaboration and provide advice and counsel on general product portfolio strategy and customer experience to Senior Leaders from across the Qantas Group, including guidance and recommendations on the customer service proposition, revenue generation opportunities and commercial decisions.
You’ll have:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with Digital experience essential.
- Knowledge and experience in the airline industry or with booking systems is preferred.
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Technology, Marketing or relevant qualifications / experience.
- Product Management experience and skills – including strategic thinking and analytical thinking, a customer centric mindset, familiarity with Human Centred Design, research and insights, business requirements and prioritisation, comfortable with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and Business Model Canvas framework.
- Effective team leadership experience – you are someone who enjoys contributing to strong team dynamics and culture.
- Experience leading an Agile software development squad, working closely with a cross-functional team of business analysts, software engineers and designers.
- The ability to influence key stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Effective collaboration, communication and presentation skills to provide advice to various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated organisational expertise, with the ability to work within a complex organisation and group policy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
