Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
- Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.
- Experience with the enterprise Data Center network design and operations in a global environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- CCIE/CCDE/PCNSE certifications.
- Experience with planning and designing large scale networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.)
- Knowledge of networking technologies/protocols: VXLAN, BGP EVPN, MC-LAG, Encryption, key management, zone based network segmentation, multi-tenant environment.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to enable network feature development velocity and accelerate daily workflow.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $176000 - $256000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of secure infrastructure solutions for Google's Enterprise Network, including comprehensive requirement analysis and the creation of engineering design documents.
- Scale network systems sustainably through advanced tools and automation, driving architectural changes that improve overall reliability, efficiency, and deployment velocity.
- Provide secure and dependable network services to internal customers, serving as a Tier 3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) and participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure maximum network uptime.
- Collaborate across the business units to analyze technical requirements, implement new technologies, and proactively shape and develop network policy recommendations.
- Take ownership of multiple technical projects from inception to completion by coordinating engineering efforts, mentoring peer engineers, and driving cross-training initiatives to achieve common goals.
