We are continuously searching for exceptional Principal Network Engineers across India to help us design, build and evolve resilient, secure and highly scalable network infrastructure that powers critically important financial platforms and services.

What You'll Do (When You Join Us)

As a Principal Network Engineer, you will work on large-scale enterprise, cloud, data centre and financial market infrastructure environments requiring deep technical expertise and strong engineering rigor. You will act as a senior technical contributor, solving complex networking challenges and driving technical excellence across the network estate.

Architect & Design

  • Design and build scalable, highly available network solutions across global enterprise, cloud and data centre environments.
  • Develop technical designs for routing, switching, security, load balancing and network services platforms.
  • Contribute to the evolution of network architecture, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient and operationally efficient.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and engineering patterns to support future business requirements.

Engineer & Optimise

  • Provide deep technical expertise across Routing & Switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, GRE, NAT and Multicast.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis across production, cloud and hybrid network environments.
  • Improve network reliability, performance and scalability through monitoring, telemetry, observability and data-driven optimisation.
  • Analyse packet captures and network telemetry data to resolve challenging technical issues.

Automate & Transform

  • Develop and maintain network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Drive operational efficiency through automation, standardisation and engineering guidelines.
  • Improve network deployment, configuration and operational processes through software engineering principles.
  • Support the adoption of modern DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering approaches within network services.

Collaborate

  • Work closely with Architecture, Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, Product and SRE teams to deliver strategic network initiatives.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable network solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical discussions and complex infrastructure projects across global teams.
  • Provide domain expertise for critical incidents, upgrades and transformation programmes.

  • Act as a recognised technical expert within your domain.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Support fellow engineers through technical guidance, peer reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Champion engineering excellence, reliability and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

Technical Expertise

  • Extensive experience designing, implementing and supporting complex enterprise network environments.
  • Expert knowledge of Routing & Switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, HSRP, GRE, VPN and Multicast technologies.
  • Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista and enterprise networking platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Data Centre Networking, VXLAN, Cisco ACI, Software Defined Networking and network segmentation.
  • Experience with network security technologies including firewalls, secure connectivity and policy-based controls.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking across AWS, Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong packet analysis and troubleshooting skills with expertise using packet capture and observability tools.
  • Experience with Python, Ansible, Terraform and network automation frameworks.
  • Exposure to highly available, low-latency or financial services environments is highly desirable.
  • CCIE certification or equivalent expert-level networking experience is preferred.
