We are looking for a motivated, energetic Product Manager to join the LANSA team.
LANSA has a 30-year track record of enabling customers to magnify the ROI of their IT spend. While most other development and integration tools have come and gone over the years, our customers have easily transitioned their applications into new technologies. LANSA’s flagship offering is Visual LANSA, the original low-code, rapid application development platform for professional mobile, web, and cloud developers. It provides a single-language IDE to generate the client-side, server-side, and everything in-between.

Responsibilities:• Drive the direction, feature set and release cadence for LANSA
- Work with customers, internal stakeholders and remote development teams to drive product feature definition
- Plan and facilitate conversations across our organizations to understand requirements and pain points and devise simple solutions to address those
- Document future product features and requirements into well-organized detailed written product requirements
- Drive and track product development progress with various development teams
- Communicate product roadmap and product value propositions to marketing and sales teams
- See yourself as a problem solver, able to think creatively to remove obstacles
- You prefer to be hands-on with your products, able to install and use what your target users use, putting yourself in their shoes
- You will interact with all levels and departments of a major software company - so your ability to communicate and influence others will be a key to your success
- Organize and prioritize product features and enhancements to align with business goals and customer needs.
- Manage well projects end-to-end from inception to launch, coordinating successful product releases and facilitating post-launch support, including webinars in collaboration with Clients, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Support and other related teams.
- Leverage technical understanding to collaborate effectively with Engineering, contributing to solution brainstorming and technical discussions.
Must-have Qualifications• Previous product management or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem solving capabilities, unanswered riddles drive you crazy
- Ability to influence without authority, establish rapport and demonstrate confidence with your product vision
- Experience working with international teams that cross multiple time zones and with large organizations
- Ability to communicate professionally with executive leadership
- Ability to manage multiple projects and queries from team members simultaneously
- Ability to be flexible and embrace change
- Ability to quickly pick up technical concepts and terminology
- Independent, proactive and detailed to resolve issues and drive impactful product growth
Important but not absolute must-have Qualifications• Familiarity with the low code development platforms market
- Technical background dealing with development tools and the software development life cycle
- Project management, release management and/or test management experience
- Extra Bonus - Familiarity with LANSA and/or its main competitors
- Extra Bonus - Familiarity with IBM technologies such as IBMi
- Extra Bonus - Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position offering a flexible work from home environment for candidates residing in Australia.
